Next Wednesday to be exact.
And all the happenings during the days before it won't be routine-driven! That is a change. In a new London life that's been filled with hope, only to be replaced with fear, stresss and anxiety, it is hard to make decisions for tomorrow.
So I can't really pin my hopes onto anything. The sanest and safest thing to do as of now, is to just try to go with the flow, and not have another breakdown. Life is crap and we all know it, but still we have to manage to overcome all that bad luck and ill outcomes! Ugh...
As I was saying, my birthday is near. Already my better half has proposed to buy me a new Filofax as a present. We were supposed to go to the lovely store on Neal Street yesterday, but on the day before, I started having doubts about which binder I should get.
I love love love the Raspberry Finsbury...
I could go for the Aqua Fins...
But then the Bond calls to me...
I don't really need another Filo...
Another Pocket Filo would mean I'd have to stop using my recent Chino...
I'd really need an A5 for future work projects, but they don't have one I like...
The Bond in A5 could work...but I need some colour...
Why is the Lavender Domino not available in A5?????
And sorry but the Fins in such a large binder doesn't look good! Not to mention it's EXPENSIVE!
AAARRGGHHHH!
But just half an hour ago I saw a lovely photo of Jotje's Mini Fins in raspberry...so I think I might just have made up my mind. I'll go for what I've wanted since it came out: the Pocket Raspberry Finsbury!
Stay tuned!!
Stay tuned!!

Glad to have served as some sort of inspiration ;-)
BTW, the A5 Finsbury is also available in Raspberry (I have the pink one, and while I wasn't sure about it on the pics, I was very happy once I actually held it.
And if you like that line of colours: how about the Chameleon A5 in raspberry?
But I DO agree with you: it's a terrible shame that the A5 Domino doesn't come in Lavender (or Gooseberry or any other "happy" colour!). I wrote Filofax about it, but they said there were no plans to release it in any other colour than currently available (GRRRRRR).
I ALSO want to know WHY the A5 Domino is NOT in LAVENDER!!!!!!
Have a wonderful birthday!!!! :)
Do let us know what you finally decide on, and of course you'll need to write about your experience. The indecision is always the worst part for me!
So, you want an A5 but don't care for the A5 in raspberry? Which A5 that they DO have is the one you wanted?
Jotje:
I have seen the coloured A5 Finsburies in real life, and somehow they don't appeal to me as the pocket ones. The Chameleon I didn't find quite appealing, to be the odd one out, I found the leather much too supple for my taste! :P
Yvotchka: The one that does appeal to me is the Bond in A5. Kinda stiff and black, but I find it so attractive and elegant!
On Wednesday we'll go to the store and get the Pocket Rasperry Fins..it's too pretty NOT to have it! Once I have it I'll see if I start using it right away, or wait until I grow tired of the Chino :)
Oni, I have gone back & re-read your posts about reorganizing your purple Fins, and of course your gorgeous new Chino...but can you please do a blog post about what sections you have in your Pocket sized Filo's?
You are serving as an inspiration to me to see if I can go even smaller than Personal and TRY Pocket. But I would have to use Day Per Page as I could never write small enough to use the Week On Two Pages! I see this is what you use.
What other sections did you end up using? What ultimately got moved to your Chino?
Yvotchka:
OK, I'll write a post about it, I will try to do it either tomorrow or Friday (depending on how inspired I am...sometimes my post come out really sh*tty)
I can't believe you are actually considering downsizing... don't worry, I will let you know all about how I use my Filos.
And to quickly answer your questions, I simply took out all the sections I had in my Purple Fins and moved them 'as is' to the Chino. And currently I only juggle two Filos; the Pocket Chino and the Mini as a wallet. The Pocket Urban I only use for when I travel..
I'm hoping that once I get a job I will actually need to use one Filo more, maybe an A5 so I can have it lie flat on my desk.
I can't believe it either, trust me! But I started thinking about what I use my Filo for the most after I did that blog on To-Do's, and it really came down to my calendar and my lists of stuff I need to get done. The rest is in there, but on a daily basis...for the one I carry around...all I REALLY need is a calendar & To-Dos.
That got me thinking, why couldn't I accomplish that in a smaller format and keep the larger binders for other things - journal, creative stuff, etc.
Then I thought about you & how you use your Filo's...
Yvotchka, wouldn't that be a neat job for your Pocket Piazza in limegreen? Just thinking, you could try it out for a few days and see what happens.
But please don't recopy all your entries from January to now!!!
LOL
